Our Story
The housing market is broken, and BoxHouse exists because someone had to do something about it.
Jeremy Johnson was working on his family farm in Hurricane, Utah, when the frustration became impossible to ignore. Housing was becoming more expensive, harder to build, more regulated, and increasingly out of reach for the people who needed it most. Jeremy believed there was a better way.
If homes could be built in a factory on an assembly line, the same way cars are manufactured, they could be made more consistently, more efficiently, and ultimately more affordably.
After years of working on the concept, Jeremy launched the business that would become BoxHouse in 2023, building the product the housing industry had been missing.
BoxHouse builds high-quality homes that can be deployed fast, moved easily, and placed wherever they are needed most. By delivering innovative homes at a smaller square footage and a price point that is more accessible, we aim to give people a real on-ramp to ownership, equity, and long-term financial stability.
The problem is urgent. The time to fix it is now. That is why we are here.
